A ministry of Cornerstone Church and is affiliated with the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The Food Pantry is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 9-11 AM, and on the 2nd Monday of the month from 6-8 PM. Please call the church office to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins during these operational hours are welcome.

Open weekdays 8:30-4:30 Monday thru Friday and serves as a regional center for food security services. Households receive donated nutritious emergency food, nutritional information about healthy meal preparation, and are connected to other food security services, such as WIC, SNAP, USDA Commodities. An Intake Case Manager will help you complete a brief assessment form, and Marketplace staff will then help with your food selection. Programs include providing emergency food and USDA commodities.

Food pantries are located in three separate locations for the convenience of our clients (East Providence, Newport and Tiverton), and they are assisted by local community volunteers, including AmeriCorps members. Our pantries are stocked with food that is both donated and purchased from the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.  A variety of food items are offered to clients based on availability. Often fresh produce and specialty items are available for healthier food choices such as low/no salt foods. Eggs, cheese and other protein products are also offered. All donations to the pantry are welcome.
